Andrew Jackson was an American soldier and statesman who was born on March 15, 1767, in British America. He served as the seventh president of the United States of America between 1829 to o1837. Jackson was already a famous personality of the US even before getting elected as the President. He was a General in the United States Army and is known to have served in both the houses of Congress. He actually started his career as a frontier lawyer and soon he was into politics and stood up as a successful politician. He represented Tennessee in the US Senate and served in the US House of Representatives for some time. After resigning there, he became the justice in the Tennessee Supreme Court and served there from 1798 to 1802.
